Hello. I'm Carlos Viciana, a senior product designer who takes products end to end, from first research to working prototypes in code.
That comes from ten-plus years of practice. I started at Zalando, creating the UX strategy for a product detail page serving millions of customers across Europe. Since 2018 I've been at The Workshop, a software company in the online casino industry, designing casino games and websites, and the design systems behind them.
These days I work in agentic delivery, with AI agents like Claude Code building alongside me. It changed how much I can deliver, not the steps I take: research, design in Figma, a solid design system, validation with users and iteration with the team.
Most of that work happens with other people. I lead cross-functional projects, mentor designers and run the workshops that get mixed teams moving. Away from the screen, I play guitar and write my own music.
